If you thought minivans couldn’t be exciting, Geely Galaxy would like a word. The Chinese automaker just pulled the covers off the V900, an extended-range luxury MPV packed with so much technology and premium equipment that it makes traditional family haulers look decidedly last-generation.

Unveiled on the opening day of the 2025 Guangzhou Auto Show, the V900 marks the debut of Geely Galaxy’s new V-series lineup and signals the brand’s serious push into the premium new-energy MPV segment. With spa-grade massage seats, a 27-speaker audio system, ceiling-mounted entertainment screens, and AI-powered karaoke, this isn’t your typical soccer-mom shuttle.

Geely Galaxy is a sub-brand of Geely Auto, the massive Chinese automotive conglomerate that also owns Volvo Cars, Polestar, Lotus, and the London Electric Vehicle Company (LEVC). In March 2025, Geely upgraded Galaxy from a simple product lineup to a full standalone brand, incorporating LEVC as its premium MPV division. The V900 represents the first fruit of that restructuring, and it’s clear Geely is aiming high.

The vehicle even gets its own series-exclusive logo: a winged horse accented in gold, designed to emphasize luxury positioning. It’s a deliberate departure from Geely’s more mainstream branding and signals exactly where the V900 sits in the company’s hierarchy.

The V900 measures 211 inches long with a 126-inch wheelbase, about 10 inches longer than a Toyota Sienna.

The Geely Galaxy V900 is an imposing machine. According to regulatory filings from China’s Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (MIIT), the V900 measures 5,360 mm long (approximately 211 inches), 1,998 mm wide (78.7 inches), and 1,940 mm tall (76.4 inches), riding on a substantial 3,200 mm wheelbase (126 inches). To put that in perspective, the V900 is about 10 inches longer than a Toyota Sienna and rides on a wheelbase that’s roughly 5 inches longer.

Styling follows Geely Galaxy’s family design language, featuring a large front grille and a split headlamp setup that gives the V900 a distinctive, modern face. Active grille shutters are expected to optimize aerodynamics and cooling efficiency. A roof-mounted lidar unit hints at higher-level autonomous driving capabilities. From the side, the V900 features flush door handles and dual power sliding doors for easy passenger access. The rear end sports a full-width taillight design and a large rear window, providing good visibility while maintaining a premium aesthetic.
