The upcoming motorcycle of Benelli 600RR images leaked in the production-ready form. Benelli discontinues to the Tornado 1130 in 2014 and also quits the bike segment. The two-wheeler manufacturer recently offers scrambler, naked, adventure, and modern classic motorcycles.
Benelli develops a 600cc, 4-cylinder engine to put the bike on Quattro motorcycle many years back but that plan never took off. The engine was plonked in the TNT600.
However, now Benelli is going to use a similar engine for the upcoming faired bike. So the motorcycle images have leaked in production-ready form. It also had a QJiang Branding, as Qianjiang owns Benelli. Benelli will launch this as 600RR and it will borrow its chassis from the TNT600i.
The motorcycle will get features like backlit controls, keyless ignition, TFT display instrument cluster, etc. The Benelli 600RR comes with Brembo brakes along with Bosch 9.1MB ABS and an underbelly exhaust.
While the 600cc inline 4 engine delivers 81.6 HP at 11,500rpm. With 51 Nm at 10,500rpm on the TNT 600i. The power figures for this bike are likely to be similar. So it will comply with Euro 5/BS6 emission norms.
Benelli is going to officially reveal the 600RR in May or June this year. But because of the COVID-19 pandemic, the company has postponed the launch plans. The bike will be unveiled soon. As the motorcycle is expecting to launch in India.
