New Ford Mustang Mach-E electric SUV arrives with Prices range from £ 44,000

Ford unveiled its all-electric Mustang Much-E at a spectacular event in Los Angeles that featured the appearance of actor Idara Elba.

The top-range version of the car can travel up to 370 miles on a full charge and recharge the 57 miles (92 km) range in 10 minutes on a high-power charge.

Under the front bonnet are buttons instead of the traditional door handles and storage space.

The fastest model can accelerate from 0-60mph within five seconds.

In comparison, the Tesla Model X 100D can do 0-60mph in 4.4 seconds.

Like the Tesla, the Mustang Mach-E has a 15.5in (40cm) touch screen next to the steering wheel.

    Prices range from £ 44,000 to £ 58,000 ($ 44,000 to $ 60,000 in the US).
Amanda Stratton, the motorcycle editor in price comparison website Confuse.com, said the vehicle had “a lot of expectations”.

“Interestingly, they have decided to use the Mustang name with this car, because of course, it’s synonymous with American muscle cars, with the larger V8 … and yet they perform under that name Are taking and putting the aspect. In this electric car, “she told BBC News.

    “I really hope it’s a game-changer.”

Earlier this year, Ford announced plans to close six manufacturing plants in Europe by 2020.

Ford President of Europe Stuart Rowley said the company’s future at the time was “rooted in electrification”.

Arcadis analyst Natalie Sauber said infrastructure is still a barrier for consumers considering purchasing electric vehicles.

“Norway is at the forefront of electric vehicles, followed by other Scandinavian countries,” he told the BBC’s Worklife program.

“Britain is coming to the same low end as Germany and America.”

According to analyst Jato, 91% of global car sales in 2019 are vehicles with internal combustion engines.

Will Mustang Sally drive an electric vehicle?

If there is one brand that embodies the American “pony car”, it is Mustang. The term was invented for it.

The original was affordable, sporty and – with a heavy engine under the bonnet – certainly stiff.

The electric Mustang mache certainly won’t be loud, but perhaps it can make a pretty vocal statement.

Ford is far from leading in the race to produce electric cars but is putting its foot down in an effort to catch it.

It also has a deal with Volkswagen to use some of German’s vastly funded know-how on future models.

The new Mach-E will lead Ford’s electric charge.

With a range of at least 260 miles and a lot of power, the new car is going up against models of Tesla, Jaguar, Audi and Mercedes.
