It seems Capcom is currently ramping up efforts on the horizon using a Resident Evil 4 remake also to the Resident Evil series. True to the leaks, Resident Evil Village will reprise the part of Biohazard’s protagonist Ethan Winters, who, with his wife, Mia, is living the beautiful life after the tumultuous events of the Baker house. Aww.
As Umbrella representative Chris Redfield arrives on the scene now everything’s all sunshine and roses, it’s the time – once again – to place Ethan. Biohazard received rave reviews claustrophobic and unsettling place, to the first-person horror, and for bringing the series back to survival horror. Will Resident Evil Village head in, what direction? Here’s everything we know, from the Evil 8 release date to locations, enemies, and much more.
RESIDENT EVIL 8 PC RELEASE DATE
The Resident Evil 8 PC release date is 2021. While we’ve not been treated to a year, Biohazard hoping.
RESIDENT EVIL 8 TRAILER
You can check out the Resident Evil 8 trailer beneath that shows the eerie village we are going to be exploring as well as the enemies and characters we will meet.
RESIDENT EVIL 8 GAMEPLAY
Resident Evil 8 is set to be just another first-person survival horror game, Capcom associate director of social media and community Kellen Haney says in a PlayStation blog article, “The return of a first-person perspective will bring a visceral edge to combat, as well. Each encounter is a personal fight for survival against terrifying foes, forcing you to keep a watchful eye on the surroundings and constantly looking for resources and enemies in an unknown land.”
There’ll also be a”better focus on the battle,” so expect more actions, along with the classic Resident Evil inventory management, forcing players to be more careful with resources.
RESIDENT EVIL 8 SETTING
Since the official title of the game suggests, Resident Evil 8 is set in a village. Haney says”Contrary to the dense corridors of the Baker mansion at Resident Evil 7, the panic of shadowy corners has been replaced with the stress of the unknown as Ethan searches for answers within decrepit buildings among snow-covered trees” It includes some Van Helsing vibes with the castle and reminds us a bit of Resident Evil 4. Talking of Van Helsing, Resident Evil 8 contains werewolves! It’s a change from the recent persistent, unkillable antagonists in Resident Evil games. Yes, daddy Baker and Mr.X are frightful, but beasts are…fast. Couple that together with first-person gameplay and scenes that are reminiscent of The Thing or The Shining, we’re don’t possess a good time.
RESIDENT EVIL 8 STORY
So, what exactly do we know about Resident Evil Village’s story? We get the impression that Resident Evil 8 opens with Mia and Ethan living a settled existence. There are snippets of a black-haired lady – probably Mia – reading stories to her kid. At the close of the trailer, we see at what would appear to be Mia’s home and Ethan, and gun down a woman of a distraught Ethan Chris Redfield shows up.
Haney says, “Ethan’s world suddenly comes crashing down once again when Chris Redfield, an unanticipated yet familiar face makes an appearance, setting off a series of events that sees a distraught Ethan looking answers to Chris’s shocking action… and finally finding him in a village.”
The statement trailer for Resident Evil 8 opens with a”His narrative comes to a near,” suggesting that either Chris or Ethan will not make it out of the village alive. But you’d expect Redfield to have a reason for ruining the peaceful life of Ethan if Chris did indeed show up out of the kill and blue Mia Resident Evil 8 might be a revenge story.
That is all. Resident Evil joins our long list of all forthcoming games on PC, but in the meantime, here are the greatest horror movies on PC you can play right now.
