From the first picture’s ending, we saw Important William Cage (Cruise) beating the Omega that controls the aliens, apparently dying in the process — even though he floats towards the Omega’s time-travel-permitting blood. He is sent to indifferent, and France for conflict timelines, Rita does not comprehend Cage.
