The engine of the New Royal Enfield Himalayan is 411 cc. This engine is equipped with a single-cylinder, 4 stroke, air-cooled fuel injection technology, which gives a power of 24.3 bhp and maximum torque of 32 Nm. The 2020 Himalayan bike with a 5-speed gearbox is the second such motorcycle after Royal Enfield’s Classic 350 Dual Channel ABS, which conforms to the BS-6 standard.
‘Switchable ABS’ feature
The Royal Enfield Himalayan is equipped with dual-channel ABS, but this bike has a ‘Switchable ABS’ feature with a special switch on and off. Through this, the ABS of the previous wheel can be deactivated. This feature occurs in high-performance adventure bikes. Adventure biking enthusiasts enjoy locking the rear wheel and sliding through bumpy roads through it.
