New SUV Car Model Bentley Bentayga, Rolls Royce Cullinan rival gets a mid-cycle update.

Bentley Bentayga’s facelift is the newest beauty added to the luxury British marque. This new update includes a plug-in hybrid option. The Bentayga, luxury SUV had already marked a 20,000 unit achievement a month back.

The Rolls-Royce Cullinan rival, Bentley Bentayga has now met with its mid-cycle update. But the roots of the luxury SUV remains the same.

    What’s under the hood?

A 4.0L twin-turbo V8 will continue to power the Bentayga and will churn out the same 542 HP (550 PS / 405 kW) and 568 lb-ft (770 Nm) of torque, but an additional plug-in hybrid and 6.0-litre W12 Speed variants will bless the lineup.

The Bentley Bentayga will hit the 60 mph from a standstill in just 4.4 seconds. The hybrid variant will include 250kW 3.0-litre turbo petrol V6 with a 90kW electric motor and a 17.3kWh battery.

    Exterior updates???

Other than a powertrain upgrade, the new Bentley Bentayga facelift has a refreshed and larger front grille design with restyled front bumper with new LED matrix headlights, a redesigned rear end including a new tailgate that runs the full width of the car, and redesigned taillights that take cues from the Continental GT.

The Bentayga has also revised the pipe design and added 20 mm to the track width for a sporty stance. New 22-inch alloy wheels (unique to the Bentayga) will increase wheel options for buyers to a total of five. A ‘wet-arm’ windscreen wiper with heating and 22 washer jets in each wiper arm will also debut on the Bentayga.

    What’s new inside?

A new refreshed dash design, along with steering design, has been added. The door trims and seats also get revised for the Bentley Bentayga facelift. A new diamond brushed aluminium trim package can be had for the interior, joining existing Koa and Crown Cut Walnut wood trims. The new 10.9-inch touchscreen on the dash will now have Apple CarPlay as standard, as the Android Auto. The new head-up display will follow a redesigned instrument cluster.

Bentley emphasises rear passenger comfort in the new Bentayga, with seat ventilation now available for rear passengers in five-seat Bentayga variants – previously only offered on four-seat models.

Rear passengers also get up to 100mm more legroom and a larger five-inch removable infotainment tablet, allowing occupants to control the temperature, media system, navigation, lighting, and rear-seat heating and massage.
