In order to make them comply with the new BS-VI emission standards, automotive manufacturers have to implement certain changes in their BS-IV products. The number of modifications required and the total cost of the conversion varies from vehicle to vehicle.

As per a new development, prices have announced for the forthcoming BS-VI edition of the Aprilia Storm 125, SR 125, and SR 160. The price hikes are massive! It is the Aprilia SR 125 which earned the least amount of price hike at INR 18,490. While the Aprilia SR 160 Carbon receives the highest price hike. INR 19,441 more expensive than its BS-IV variant.
There will be no major visual or interface changes to the BS-VI Aprilia Storm 125 and SR 125. The same 125 cc single-cylinder engine, the 3-valve engine used to produce about 9.5 BHP and 9.9 Nm of torque, will drive them. These estimates, though, could be slightly different in the fit condition of the BS-VI engine.
The BS-VI Aprilia SR 160 covers for the BS-IV Aprilia SR 150. Aprilia used the same 150 cc engine and its displacement rose to 160 cc. Along with a new fuel-injection system, it has the 3-valve technology. The output of the power and torque would be 11 PS and 11.6 Nm. The BS-VI Aprilia SR 160 will not see any other major changes.
Earlier reports say the BS-VI Aprilia SR 160 has already started hitting dealerships. And we want Aprilia to get its BS-VI scooters officially launched very soon.
On the BS-VI Aprilia SR 160, the engine is slightly larger than that of the BS-IV Aprilia SR 150.
At Auto Expo, 2018 Aprilia showcased the RS 150 and Tuono 150. Bike fans were then excited hoping that in the 150 cc market, India will soon be getting more luxury bikes.
