The series has been renewed for its third season. The series relies on the Deborah Harness’ All Souls Trilogy. Each of those seasons derive from each of the books in the trilogy.

Release date of season 2
Season 1 received over two million viewpoints, and in November 2018, the series was revived for 3rd and next seasons. As of yet, however, there has been no official statement about the launch date. In accordance with Sky One, the television network at which the show premiered, season two will return in 2020.
Meanwhile, the show’s Twitter accounts was keen to give updates. On 7th January 2020, the account tweeted: “Here we go again. Last fourteen days filming on #ADiscovery Of Witches, then it’s all in the could!!”. But given the present pandemic scenario, the series may get postponed.
Who will be in the cast?
Teresa Palmer and Matthew Goode will be returning to their roles of Diana Bishop and Matthew Clairmont, respectively. Along with that, Sophie Norman, Emily Mather, Nathaniel Wilson, and Sarah Bishop will be reprising their roles.
As far as the new faces, Michael Jibson and Emperor Rudolf II will play, Steven Cree and James Purefoy will perform Philippe De Clermont and Gallowglass De Claremont.
What can be the storyline?
The season will be predicated on Shadow Of Night Souls Trilogy. Diana and Matthew will be coping with puzzles and dangers while defending their connection.
