Alfa Romeo Automobiles is an Italian Luxury car manufacturing company founded on 24th June 1910 as A.L.F.A in Milan, Italy. The brand has a well-known history dating from sporty vehicles and has been actively involved in car racing since 1911.
Alfa Romeo is one of the few innovation-driven companies and also has many patents under the companies alliances. It was involved in many technological innovations, including a double overhead cam engine and the very first electric injection systems fed by a semi-high pressure circulating fuel pump system.
The company’s 8C from the early years were much stylish, high-performance cars featuring matching specifications of Maserati, Ferrari with even better looks and providing an un-matched performance. The Alfa Romeo 8C is rumored to enter in production phase in 2023 or 2022 accordingly.
The model is expected to feature a mid-engine build with carbon-fiber monocoque chassis, providing a total about 700 Horsepower supported by a hybridized Twin-Turbo charges V-8 engine, featuring an optimal firing and lower vibration characteristics. The model is rumored to sport an all-wheel-drive coupe based system, providing an instant pick-up and unmatched acceleration.
The car is speculated to comes with some unmatched features like advanced traction control at high speeds and improved torque vectoring as well as future-ready vehicle dynamics controller based on feed-forward based logic.
These logics are able to understand the desired behavior request given by the driver and predict real-time control based on it. The all wheel drive brings a host for chassis tuning possibilities and even more stronger traction on the ground.
This reborn flagship is also expected to mate with an electric motor on the front axle along with a V-8 engine, which efforts the car to reach the car from 0-100kmph in less than 3 seconds. The 8C is still in its early stages of development, and the prototype model is expected to launch at either 2019 or 2020.
The 8C’s manufacturer hints the model to undergo limited production, and no more than around 1000 models are to be manufactured. It is quite too early to mention the expected price of the model, whose specification is to a mystery to be unveiled.
