Alita: Battle Angel is a 2019 American cyberpunk action film based on Japanese Manga artist 1990s series Gunnm and its 1993 Original video animation adaptation Battle Angel. It was directed by Robert Rodriguez and produced by James Cameron, who co-wrote the script with Laeta Kalogridis.
After the release of the first film, fans are expecting the second part.
Alita: Battle Angel took a decent $404.9 million worldwide and given its dedicated fanbase, that would traditionally be enough for a sequel to be made.
The problem for Alita fans is that since the first movie was released, Disney completed its acquisition of Fox and it’ll be Disney that decides whether the movie gets a sequel and if it can find space on its packed release slate for it.
The film is intended to be a complete story, in the previous movie, Alita loses her lover, Hugo, but has come to understand herself and her place in the world better, rising to become Motorball champion and get her shot at returning to the mysterious city, Zalem, and its leader Nova.
Rest we will get to know in the sequel of the movie.
For now we cannot say anything regarding the sequel of the movie as there is no official announcement of the sequel from Disney. Once the makers confirm it, we will keep you updated with all the latest updates.
