Among the popular crime drama show, Animal Kingdom is shortly coming up with its fifth year on Netflix. The series, developed by Jonathan Lisco, is based on the 2010 film by David Michod. It was aired on TNT on 14th June 2016 and has been into the limelight ever since then. The series is one of the best family dramas ever with 2.3 million viewership. It has been nominated for Best Thriller Crime Series at Saturn Awards.
The story revolves around a boy named Joshua, who moves in with his family after his mother dies. Janine Cody, his grandmother, heads a criminal clan. Joshua gets involved with his cousins and their activities, and his life takes an unexpected twist.
Is Your Upcoming Season Delayed For Some Reason Or There Is A Release Date?
Nothing was announced regarding the launch of Season 5. The show was revived for the fifth season back in July 2019.
The production has been ongoing until it had been put on hold in and started later in 2019. Following the release schedules, the fifth period was designed to get published in May 2020.
But considering the present situation, it is safe to say that if the production resumes this season, we may be able to catch a glimpse of it at the end of 2021 or 2020. Well, nothing much can be returned now unless that which has back to normalcy.
All characters will be returning. Ben Robson as both Craig, Scott Speedman as Barry, Shawn Hatosy as Andrew, Finn Cole as Joshua, Jake Weary as Deran, ellen Barkin as Janine and all other actors will be reprising their roles. Stay tuned we hope to get more updates soon and until then!
