    Audi Q7 Facelift SUV Bookings Officially Open

    German luxury carmaker Audi India has officially opened the bookings for its upcoming premium SUV 2022 Q7 facelift (2022 Q7 facelift). The three-row luxury SUV is all set to make a comeback in India later this month with a new engine. Audi has fixed the booking amount for the 2022 Q7 facelift at Rs 5 lakh.

    Audi India has started locally producing the new 2022 Q7 facelift car at the SAVWIPL manufacturing plant in Aurangabad. Even before its launch later this month, the SUV has started arriving at many dealerships across the country.

    Comes In Two Trims

    The Q7 will be available in two trims – Premium Plus and Technology (Technology) – at launch. The second-generation Q7 facelift SUV will enter the Indian markets months after making a comeback with an upgrade to the Q5 facelift SUV. Audi discontinued the Q7 in the Indian markets in April 2020 following the implementation of the new BS-VI fuel emission norms.

    Look And Style

    In terms of look and design, in its new avatar, the facelifted version of the Audi Q7 will come with a host of cosmetic updates on the exterior as well as inside the cabin. It will get a redesigned front look similar to the new Audi Q family range.

    This includes new signature daytime running lights, redesigned grille with chrome frame, matrix LED headlamps. There is also a new bumper with bigger air intakes and new alloy wheels. At the rear, the Q7 chrome trim gets new LED taillights.

    Engine And Power

    The biggest and most important change in the Q7 facelift SUV has been made in the engine. The SUV will be powered by a new 3.0-liter V6 turbocharged petrol engine mated to an 8-speed automatic transmission. This engine generates maximum power of 340 hp and a peak torque of 500 Nm.

    Top Speed

    It can accelerate from 0 to 100 kmph in less than 6 seconds and has a top speed of 250 kmph. The Q7 facelift will also come with the standard Quattro all-wheel-drive system.

    Features

    Talking about the features, the SUV can be given features like a 10.1-inch touchscreen infotainment system, an 8.6-inch touchscreen display for 4-zone climate control and a 12.3-inch digital instrument console, panoramic sunroof. The 7-seater SUV measures 5,063 mm in length, 1,970 mm in width, 1,741 mm in height and will have a wheelbase of 2,995 mm.

    How Much Will Be The Price

    However, the price of the 2022 Audi Q7 facelift SUV will be revealed with its launch only in January next year. But according to the report, its price can be fixed at around Rs 80 lakh.

    Competition

    After launch, the new Q7 will compete with Mercedes-Benz GLS (Mercedes-Benz GLS), BMW X7 (BMW X7) and Volvo XC90 (Volvo XC90) and Land Rover Discovery in the Indian market.
