Hyundai eventually took the wraps off the 2020 Creta in Auto Expo 2020. The interiors were put under wraps, till now, while we already knew exactly what the SUV looks like from the outside. During the unveiling, we managed to get a glimpse of what is inside. It sports several bits that are distinct from its counterpart, the ix25. Here’s a closer look:
The images reveal a cabin design for your 2020 Creta. It sports a large landscape-styled touchscreen infotainment system (maybe 8 inches) in the middle, which differs from the Tesla-like design from the ix25. Its air vents have been positioned above the system instead of either side.
It will get a center console using climate control knobs unlike the one in the ix25. Meanwhile, dual-tone upholstery and the door illuminates are similar. It sports a distinct steering wheel design, that is similar to the Sonata sedan that is international-spec. Also a new gear selector design and an electronic parking brake around off the insides. We know the Creta will come with Link connected Android Auto automobile technician and Apple CarPlay, climate control, cruise control, along with a sunroof. Security features are most likely to consist of 6 airbags, ABS with EBD, front and rear parking sensors, electronic stability control, and a rearview camera.
The 2020 Creta has been redesigned on the exterior, with front and rear end, headlamps, tail lamps wheel arches, and alloy wheels. It’ll be powered by the exact same BS6-compliant 1.5-liter petrol, 1.5-liter Gas, and 1.4-litre turbo-petrol engine since the Kia Seltos. It’ll be launched in March, with prices likely to vary from Rs 11 lakh to Rs 16 lakh (ex-showroom). The Creta will take on the likes of Mahindra XUV500, MG Hector, Tata Harrier, and the Kia Seltos.
