Your shop name, address, phone number, and email should appear prominently at the top. Include your business registration or GST/VAT number where applicable.
Always record the customer's full name, phone, and email. For the vehicle, include the make, model, year, color, VIN number, license plate, and mileage in and out. The VIN ties the repair work to a specific vehicle — critical for warranty claims and service history.
Break down every charge separately. List labor hours at a per-hour rate, and parts with individual unit prices and quantities. Mixing labor and parts into one line is the most common cause of billing disputes — always keep them separate.
