But a charter plane was welcomed drawing criticism.

Right-wing party, ACT, chief David Seymour called this”an insult to work New Zealanders.”
“What are the rules on the border? At the moment, it seems that if you’re a friend of the Government, you are running a business. Otherwise, you are by yourself. There should be one rule for everybody… It’s unacceptable for politicians to be picking and choosing who can go into the country,” he told the regional media.
