Bajaj Auto joins the list of automakers which increases the price of BS6 products. The company increases the Pulsar 150 price by INR 4,467.
Bajaj Auto increases the price of the BS6 Pulsar 150 range. Launched in February this year, the BS6 Pulsar 150 Neon price starts with INR 90,003 instead of INR 85,536. The price increase by INR 4,467. On the other hand, BS6 Pulsar Standard decreased by INR 2,000 and price for INR 97,000. The top-end BS6 Bajaj Pulsar 150 Twin Disc variant also increases its price by INR 2,000 and costs for INR 1,01 lakh. These prices are ex-showroom price from Delhi. So the two-wheeler maker has joined the list of two-wheeler makers like Hero MotoCorp, Honda, TVS, etc. So that increases the price of several BS6 vehicles. The company still not reveals the detail behind the price increase. But according to the sources it’s because of the COVID-19 pandemic. Whereas the price hike is largely marginal and is unlikely to have a notable impact on sales.
BS6 Bajaj Pulsar 150 motorcycle continues to sport the same style as their BS4 counterparts. The Bajaj Pulsar gets new color options in their BS6 avatars. The company has not introduced any features on these bikes. This means the only significant change of BS6 bike is the cleaner engine as compare to BS4. All three Pulsar 150 bikes power by the BS6 149.5 cc engine that makes 14 bhp and 13 Nm of peak torque. The engine is coupled to have a five-speed manual transmission.
Both the Pulsar Standard model and 150 Neon make use of 31 mm telescopic forks with a five-way adjustable Nitrox shock absorber. However, it gets a better suspension setup with Pulsar 150 Twin Disc. With 37 mm telescopic forks with a five-way adjustable Nitrox shock absorber. So it uses 280 mm front and 230 mm rear disc brakes in combination with ABS for the top-end Pulsar Twin Disc.
