Black Panther 2: Plot

Ryan Coogler reveals his interest lies in exploring T’Challa’s reign as King and the way he adjusts to the throne.

Coogler tells that “You know, in the comic books he’s very young when [his father] T’Chaka is killed. In the MCU, he’s a man. And these are two separate things. So, in the books, he is a child king. He gets his throne when he is very young.” “So he has a different type of control and confidence in his position, you know? In our film, that character is just trying to settling in. So I’d be interested to see what kind of King he is with experience.”

The film will also follow up on Black Panther, revealing Wakanda’s significance to the world at the ending of the first movie.
