Giving an old bike a new look is as simple as repairing what’s need to repair. It means simpling slapping a tank from another bike on the existing frame.
However, this is how simple the crew from the Paris based Blitz bikes make the whole process look. Unlikely the moto shops out there, which go to make a great design. So this one will make a living by storing beat down, old machines and giving them a new look. Possibly under the new name. The motorcycle builds are generally simple, whistles, and bells others like to adorn their bikes with.
The case was on point the 1976 BMW R60/7 as shown in the gallery and renamed as Olive. The bike starts off like all others from the range. But the motorcycle got a new engine with 600cc in displacement. Because the owner had barely got the driving license. It also needed to comply with power output requirements.
The motorcycle has rebuilt according to Blitz, as it was the engine and electric wiring. So on the top of the frame, the tank will no longer a stock BMW one. But the hardware was sourced from a Honda CB250. This is because of the color sprayed on the tank of that bike known as Olive.
Other modification includes the thermal wrapping of the exhaust pipes. Also with new Firestone tires, Triumph handlebars, new headlight, and a custom seat.
However, the cost of the modification is not out yet. Also we do not confirm where the motorcycle is doing rounds now.
