The biggest news yet, BMW is now suggesting a version of X5 with hydrogen fuel cells. They are going to see tons of variants till they get the most dominant resource for their X5. We are looking out for the I Hydrogen NEXT, and it shall start its production from 2022. The supply of hydrogen shall be done by Toyota Motor Corp. for this as well. According to CEO Oliver Zipse, it is going to form the pillar of another term for BMW, the fuel cells.
It is time since the idea of hydrogen cells came up. And it is evidence of its peculiarity, as it provides for fast refuelling and long ranges- the most dominant problems for the electric vehicles. But it was not put up yet on the market due to costly technology and the present situation of limited cash flow. Also, Daimler chose to make the cells now with Volvo instead of the GMC. They shall mainly focus on hydrogen-powered cars, vans, and trucks. And the CEO, Zipse, is currently pursuing his initial strategy of working on new variants, as much as possible. They just want to be more flexible on-demand.
This is yet another move of the company to the production of clean technology cars, and even the officials will be pretty happy with this news. Keep with us for more positive news, and quick updates.
