The BS-VI Yamaha RayZR 125 Fi was launched earlier this month at a starting price of INR 66,730 along with the BS-VI Yamaha Street Rally 125 Fi that costs INR 70,730. Okay, the suspense is over now, because it has begun to hit showrooms.
The BS-VI RayZR 125 Fi is now available at many of its potential buyers were actually waiting to s dealerships, and a deposit of INR 1,000 can be booked. The RayZR looks even more desirable in its latest Avatar. Undoubtedly one of its best features must be the new Y-shaped LED DRL or position light which is located where we normally have the headlight. For a more stylish, aggressive and modern look, the headlight mounted on the apron below.
We also like the rugged, bolder and more sportive side panels that improve the overall visual appeal of the scooter. For that additional oomph aspect, Yamaha has also introduced a fully-digital instrument console. This should come as a welcome addition and the customers will love it.
Powering the new Yamaha RayZR is an air-cooled, single-cylinder 125 cc engine that comes with Yamaha’s Blue Core technology and complies with the stricter and more stringent BS-VI emission standards. It is the same engine the BS-VI Yamaha Fascino 125 Fi hires.
It churns out max power of 8.2 PS at 6,500 rpm and peak torque of 9.7 Nm. Which kicks in at 5,000 rpm. The new RayZR 30 percent more powerful and 16 percent more fuel-efficient compared to its predecessor.
The new feature added by Yamaha has also added it’s Smart Motor Generator (SMG) ‘ which uses electronic controls to deliver a quieter engine start without the need for a separate conventional electric starter. The new RayZR 125 Fi also features a cut-off switch on the side stand engine.
Available in two versions-drum and disk costing INR 66,730 (ex-showroom) and INR 69,730 (ex-showroom) respectively. The BS-VI Yamaha RayZR 125 Fi comes in a wide range of color options including Dark Matte Blue. And also, Metallic Black, Cyan Blue, Matte Red Metallic and Reddish Yellow Cocktail.
