Both bikes have started arriving at dealerships while Royal Enfield is to announce the initiation of Continental GT 650 and the BS6 Interceptor 650. As for their prices, we have already advised you that each of the versions of both bicycles has gotten expensive by around Rs 9,000 within their counterparts that were BS4.
The entry-level version of this Interceptor 650 BS6 was priced at Rs 2.65 lakhs and it goes around Rs 2.85 lakhs for its priciest colour variation. On the other hand, the Continental GT 650 BS6 costs from Rs 2.71 lakhs to Rs 3.01 lakhs, depending on the paint scheme (all rates are ex-showroom).
Last month, A document that was leaked had revealed the engine specifications of the BS6 models. Churning out 46.8bhp in 7,150rpm, the upgraded bikes produce the same power as their BS4 versions. In all other facets, the bikes remain unaltered besides the BS6-bound changes on the engine. As it is, the roadster and café racer styling of the Interceptor and Continental GT was retained.
