BS6 Xpulse 200 T hero, Xtreme 200S to be launched shortly

Hero MotoCorp announced it would shortly launch the BS6 Xpulse 200 T and Xtreme 200S. Both bikes are supposed to be powered by the same BS6 fuel-injected engine that debuted on the company’s adventure motorcycle, the Xpulse 200. The 200 T is, in essence, the Xpulse’s urban touring version. And only a matter of time before Hero upgraded the ‘T’ to BS6. The Hero Xtreme 200S, on the other hand, is nude the Xtreme 200R Street’s more sporty version.

We’ve recently stated that in the transition to BS6 requirements the Xpulse 200 lost a little power and torque. It also obtained an oil cooler in the process and a weight boost of 3 kg along with it. In the Xpulse 200 T and Xtreme 200S, we expect the BS6 motors to deliver the same amount of power (17.8hp) and torque (16.4Nm) as the Xpulse 200 engine.

The bikes also required to gain some weight in the transition to BS6. And this would have an impact on overall performance along with the reduced strength. As long as we have our hands on a test ride. After the lockout stops, we can clarify that.

Because of the nationwide shutdown and the need to preserve social space, Hero expected to announce the BS6 Xpulse 200 prices in the coming weeks on its official website, rather than hosting a launch ceremony.

The price announcement will consider as the product’s official launch; we expect the Xpulse 200 T and Xtreme 200S BS6 to both go on sale shortly afterward.

BS6 Hero Xpulse 200 yields less strength

Hero updated its website for the 2020 BS6 Xpulse 200 and listed all of the new motorcycle’s features and specs it first revealed in February 2020. At the time, we learned the motorcycle using fuel-injection, a new oil cooler, and a rerouted exhaust. But we now wonder how the performance influenced by these improvements.
