The country’s electric two-wheeler vehicle manufacturing company Komaki launched the XGT-X1 electric scooter in June last year itself. At the same time, now the company has also improved its prices this year. Now it costs Rs 60,000 with Lithium-ion battery and Rs 45,000 with Gel battery.
The Komaki XGT-X1 gets many features like telescopic shockers, remote lock, anti-theft lock system, synchronized braking system etc. Komaki is also offering a 2+1 (1-year service warranty) year warranty on its lithium-ion battery and one year warranty on the lead-acid battery. The XGT-X1 is claimed by the company to have a bigger trunk and comes with a smart dashboard. It also has a sensor for remote diagnostics and comes with a remote lock.
This electric scooter is capable of delivering a range of 100 kms to 120 kms in Eco mode which further impresses its buyers.
Gunjan Malhotra, Director, Komaki Electric Division, has said that this e-scooter will get more buyers in the coming times, especially when fuel prices are at their record level in the country. In a press statement issued by the company, he said, “As always, we have focused while packing the vehicles with amazing features that characterize Komaki Electric Vehicles. Considering the petrol prices and pollution levels, the company is confident that the time has come to start moving towards electric vehicles.
Usually, the Activa scooter costs around 85,000. But the new prices of the Komaki XGT-X1 are so low that buyers can get 2 Komaki scooters for the same cost as an Activa.
