The 2020 Nissan 370Z car model sits at the bottom of our sports car rankings. Its performance is nothing special by class standards, and since the 370Z hasn’t been redesigned in quite some time, it has old-looking interior styling and outdated technology.
Pros:
Cons:
The 2020 Nissan 370Z has standout performance compared to most regular cars, like sedans and hatchbacks. Its V6 engine is decently powerful, but this car lacks the potency of many of its rivals, and it’s less fuel-efficient.
The 370Z features a 3.7-litre V6 engine that puts out 332 horsepower and 270 pound-feet of torque. The 370Z Nismo trim has the same engine, but it produces 350 horsepower and 276 pound-feet of torque. A six-speed manual transmission comes standard, or you can opt for a seven-speed automatic.
According to EPA estimates, the 370Z earns 17 mpg in the city and 26 mpg on the highway with its standard engine and the manual transmission. Rear-wheel drive comes standard; all-wheel drive is not available.
Standard features in the 370Z include a six-speaker audio system, Bluetooth, a USB port, automatic climate control, a rearview camera, proximity keyless entry, and push-button start. Available features include a 7-inch touch screen, navigation, voice recognition, satellite radio, and an eight-speaker Bose audio system.
The 370Z seats two and come standard with cloth upholstery. Leather upholstery, Recaro sport seats, heated seats, and power-adjustable seats are available.
The seats are firm, so they may not be comfortable on longer drives. Seeing out of the rear of the car is easy, but visibility is more limited to the sides and rear.
The 370Z coupe has a 6.9-cubic-foot trunk, which is one of the smallest in the sports car model class. As if that wasn’t bad enough, the 370Z’s sloping roofline means that the limited cargo space you do have isn’t very usable. There’s not much cabin storage space for small items either.
The 2020 Nissan 370Z car model is part of a generation that began with the 2009 model. The most significant change for 2020 is the discontinuation of the roadster body style. Additionally, a rearview camera became standard for 2019.
