Chevrolet

Chevrolet was started in 1911 by Louis Chevrolet and General Motors. Chevrolet has other names like Chevy or Chev. It is an American automobile manufacturer with the headquarters in Detroit.

With automobiles, trucks and commercial vehicles, Chevrolet also provides with the service of insurance, financing, repairs, sales and maintenance.

Chevrolet has at last been successful in building the previous Corvette C7. At an auction in the summer, the car as sold for $2.7 million.

That is a significant sum for the Corvette. It was the most expensive automaker-donated vehicle by Barrett-Jackson.

Corvette Z06 was the last model in black. It has a 6.2-litre V8 engine that has 650 horsepower and 650 lb-ft torque. It accelerates from 0-62 mph in 2.95 seconds.

Now that Corvette 7 is done, Chevrolet can focus their attention to mid-engine C8. The production was delayed due to UAW strike and was supposed to start late this year. The attack had closed the plants and cost a fortune to the company.

The impact was downplayed initially, but later Chevrolet admitted that due to the strike, the launch date had to adjust. Chevrolet Corvette Stingray was scheduled to be launched in 2020.

But now the production will begin in February 2020 at GM’s Bowling Green Assembly Plant.

Even with the delay, the Corvette is a massive hit with its features. It is a value for money with impressive design, cost and performance. 2020 Corvette will have a 6.2-litre V8 engine with 490 horsepower performance.

Customers can order the Z51 Performance Package or the one with the sports exhaust system. It will have 495 horsepower.

2020 Corvette can go from 0 to 60 mph in 3 seconds and covers a quarter-mile with 11.2 seconds. The Z51 will be faster, i.e., it can go from 0 to 60 mph within 2.9 seconds.

The pricing starts at $59,995.
