Karate Kid sequel series Cobra Kai has found a new house in Netflix for its upcoming third season.
Though it was released back to producers, the internet series began in 2018.
The third season of this series is supposed to premiere in an unannounced date, with the first two seasons hitting on Netflix later this season.
Cobra Kai follows grown-up versions of competitions Daniel LaRusso (Ralph Macchio) and Johnny Lawrence (William Zabka) from the 1984 original movie.
“The appeal of The Karate Kid saga is timeless, and Cobra Kai picks up right where it left off without missing a beat,” said Brian Wright, vice president of original string at Netflix (via Variety).
“The competition between Daniel and Johnny is one for the ages, and the series has a whole lot of heart and is a great deal of fun. We can not wait to introduce a new generation of fans into Cobra Kai and are delighted to be its new home across the world.”
