Netflix has unveiled the trailer for science fiction thriller Dark’s third and final season. Dark has become a mind-bending, well-acted web series with its unique mythos that a lot is obviously to unpack.
Co-created from Baran bo Odar and Jantje Friese, the series is set in the town of Winden. The very first season introduced the disappearances of children. The departures were nothing new to Winden, and they return decades. It had been disclosed there was a wormhole within the cave system under a neighborhood plant, which was related to the disappearances.
Dark is because of its singular take on dimensions. The main story was set in 2019; however, the first season of the show is also set in 1953 and 1986, and for a scene in 2053. The next season is set in 1954, 1987, and 2020, and proceeds the 2053 storyline.
It appears the lore will get more complicated in the season, and we anticipate an explanation as well. Though we are barely shown any plot details, it could be gauged the apocalypse that was promised has been set in motion.
