Dead to Me season 2 Release Date, Cast, Plot And All The Latest Update We Have So Far

The dark comedy starring Christina Applegate and Linda Cardellini is about two women who develop close after meeting at a grief counseling session.

Jen Harding’s (Applegate) husband is killed in a shout, while Judy Hale (Cardellini) is struggling to come to terms with the loss of her infant.

But as it turns out that Judy is currently harboring a dark mystery, all isn’t as it sounds, and it is merely a matter of time before the truth reveals itself.

As the season is approaching, here is everything you need to understand – and there is the season.

When is Dead to Me season 2 released on Netflix?

Netflix has verified that Dead to Me will return on Friday, May 8, 2020.

Confirming the news Netflix showed a new poster to the show, with Applegate and Cardellini pictured underwater glasses of wine which hold what looks like blood.

    Who’s in the cast?

Last 27, with Applegate posting a photograph of the two celebrities on Twitter, Linda Cardellini and Christina Applegate are confirmed to be returning for two.

“My girl We got more time together. I love you,” she said.

With season one ending with the apparent death of James Marsden’s character Steve, it’s unconfirmed if he is going to return – but who knows what surprises this show might have in store for us.

Meanwhile, Natalie Morales has joined season two at a recurring role as Michelle, a girl who creates a bond with Judy.

What will the second season be about?

Season two will pick up following the shocking cliffhanger at the end of season one, which revealed Jen and Judy standing over the lifeless body of Judy’s husband Steve, with Jen seemingly responsible for shooting him.

With season one dealing that Steve and Judy were driving the car that killed the husband, Ted of Jen, the new season will likely find Judy and Jen jumped together within the new passing.

Series founder Liz Feldman has cautioned that the ending might not be as it seems, while audiences shocked.

“I will just say you don’t understand that she shot him,” she informed The Hollywood Reporter.

“Much like the rest of the series, it’s not just what you think it’s likely to be,” she said, hinting that season two could research this puzzle.

On what was still to come in the narrative, Feldman said: “There is an evening of this dent and there’s a rebalancing which will occur and nearly, in certain ways, a role reversal.
