Demon Slayer Season 2- Release date, Trailer, Plot and everything you should know

Let us get an overview of the series. Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba, which translates into Blade of Demon Destruction is an anime adaptation of a Japanese manga series written and illustrated by Koyoharu Gotōge. It is set in Taishō-era, Japan. The storyline follows the story of Tanjiro Kamado, a young boy living with his family in a mountain. He has lost his dad and is the only breadwinner of the family. He provides for his family by selling charcoal. His life takes a turn one day when he returns home to find his entire family slaughtered, but his sister Nezuko survives- but with a catch- she’s turned into a demon but shows some understanding of emotions. They avenge his family and then embark on a journey.

The anime premiered from April 6 to September 28, 2019, with 26 episodes. The close of the season promised with where the story ended, there is that a sequel movie ongoing. The movie titled Demon Slayer: Infinity train arc is scheduled to release on October 16, 2020. A trailer for the same has been released and could be seen here:

The anime obtained 2019’s very best anime award and is supposed to come back for a 2nd season in spring 2021. The plot will pick up where the upcoming movie ends, and we are sure to see his friends along with Tanjiro continuing on his quest to defeat Kibustuji Muzan.
