Reacting to some fan’s comment about submitting a petition for the release/filming of another year, among the stars of Derry Girls, Nicola Coughlan, hinted about Season 3 of Derry Girls to commence filming sometime next year through a few of her tweets. “No need for a request. We’re filming Derry Girls 3 next year!” She tweeted.

At a very recent interview,” Saoirse-Monica Jackson, who plays Erin in the popular show, was asked about what fans can expect and when is it coming. “We do not know anything because we are not trusted with anything! I would say it all will be the very same disasters. I don’t think anybody can predict what Lisa will develop with, so we’re looking forward to seeing it as far as everybody else is,” she said.
