As of Friday, March 27th, a new motorsport-oriented documentary entitled Stamina is streaming on YouTube and April 3rd on Amazon Prime. The 90-minute video shows Porsche’s 2019 initiative in road racing in a manner never seen before.
The documentary is the work of one of the people. As it gave audiences a look beyond the Formula 1 curtains in the Netflix Race to Survive show. So, this will be a sight to behold.
James Routh and his crew accompanied the Porsche GT racing crews for 25 days before. After and during two of the most demanding races of 2019. So, as the 24 Hours of Le Mans and the 24 Hours of Nürburgring-Nordschleife.
Porsche says the video reveals everything from tension and poverty in road racing to “dedication and love for those concerned.”
The race scenes are packed with insights from the motorsport chief Pascal Zurlinden. With the drivers-Kévin Estre, Michael Christensen, Laurens Vanthoor and Matt Campbell. And the auto racing expert Luca Massé.
“In an outstanding manner. The documentary Endurance reveals what endurance racing involves:
So, Poverty, tension, enthusiasm. With the boundless commitment. And affection for those concerned,” Porsche said in a statement.
“The main characters are not just cars. In this case, the Porsche 911 RSR and the 911 GT3 R, all based on the high-performance 911 GT3 RS development model.
But also the citizens. Dealing with difficult circumstances and failures on the racetrack is as unfiltered and truthful as the observations of the young racing driver’s family are about the risks and life at the top.
The video is now up and running on Porsche’s YouTube page, so we’ve added it to this text below. And because most of us don’t have a spot to go soon for reasons we all know, it’s the ideal pass time for the next few hours. Enjoy it.
