Duster announces it BS6 variant,price hikes up.

The Bharat Stage 6 Renault Duster is here. The changes made were inevitable to provide the new norms of BS6. Here is a brief overview of changes

  • Duster is now a petrol-only offer
  • Prices hiked up by up to 50000 rupees
  • Three variants are available: RXE, RXS, and RXZ(new)
  • Duster Turbo comes with a new 1.3-liter turbo-petrol engine with CVT(optional)

The new Duster, for now, offers no additional features in the spec chart hence the price rise is a bit absurd. Here is a look at the revised price list.

The old-gen BS4 duster CVT-only has been discontinued. Now Renault has introduced the RXZ variant with petrol as BS6 Duster diesel has got discontinued. BS6 Duster comes with a 1.5-litre petrol engine under the hood with 106 PS power and 142 Nm torque at wheels, like the old twin sis- BS4 counterpart. The new variant is cleaner and cheaper to the pockets with a claimed fuel efficiency of 14.26 kmpl.

The Tech remains the same as the BS6 offers 7-inch infotainment system with Apple Carplay and Android Auto, rear parking camera. Along comes safety features like rear parking sensors, ABS with EBD, dual front airbags and speed alert. Thus the BS6 Renault Duster is a top-notch compact SUV.
