One of the most famous non-English reveals on Netflix is your Spanish show Elite. Despite a million other choices on Netflix, this sultry, and whipsmart teen genre entrance proved worthy of the spotlight. Hence, Elite’s recent season three premiere detonated on Netflix and created fans long for the introduction of the fourth year.
A Spanish publication has previously hinted that Elite is in its pre-production stages for the season. However, Netflix had been tight-lipped then.
Netflix affirms the renewal of Elite for year 4
Now, the streaming platform Netflix has formally confirmed Elite’s renewal for period 4. The streaming giant’s official Twitter accounts for the show posted a video with a caption that says,
The movie featured the returning cast of the season commenting on the status of the series.
Furthermore, the group shown the scripts of the series’ fourth run are already finished. They also shared their excitement about what they’ve read from the new scripts, stating, “it’s extreme.”
Some cast Won’t reprise their roles
Regrettably, the announcement comes with the record of the cast that won’t be returning. Mina El Hammani (Nadia), Danna Paola (Lu), Ester Expósito (Carla), Álvaro Rico (Polo), and Jorge López (Valerio) will not reprise their roles in season 4.
The cast changes were hinted by Georgina Amoros, who performs Cayetana.
The information came quite unsurprising for devotees as season 3 of Elite has already given close to its most important characters. The last episode revealed many of them going on with their lives and professions, either in Spain or abroad. Nonetheless, the upcoming season will present brand-new celebrities to depict new characters.
Things to expect
Considering that the show has already wrapped up the murder of Marina and Polo from the prior seasons, the series’ fifth run is very likely to tackle an entirely new puzzle. Even though the end of the third season clearly said goodbye to some characters, there’s still plenty to explore in year 4 with the figures still at Las Encinas.
As of press time, Netflix hasn’t yet slated Elite season 4 for a release date. With the premiere program still up in the atmosphere, the streaming platform hasn’t disclosed a trailer yet.
