Everything You Want To Know About Star Wars Adventure

Princess Leia is featured Together with her furry Ewok pals at the third Installment of Star Wars: Forces of Destiny. Announced at Star Wars Celebration in April, the new animated series Star Wars: Forces of Destiny is a celebration of the female heroines in the Star Wars saga, including center movie characters like Leia, Padme Amidala, Rey, and Jyn Erso, as well as animated characters such as Star Wars Rebels’ Sabine and Hera, and The Clone Wars’ Ahsoka Tano.

Crafted with Star Wars lovers in mind yet aimed at young female audiences, the Forces of Destiny stories all fit inside the Star Wars canon, bulking up recognizable scenes in the movies and animated shows with intriguing ancillary tales to enhance the general Star Wars experience. In all, 16 episodes that operate about three-minutes all are being produced, and a distinctive line of action figures, dubbed”Adventure Figures,” are being produced to help promote the sequence.

Forces of Destiny officially kicked off Monday on Disney’s YouTube channel using a Rey’s The Force Awakens-themed adventure known as Sands of Jakku, along with an adjoining narrative BB-8 Bandits was submitted Tuesday. Wednesday’s incident is shooting back the action to the forests of Endor at Return of the Jedi for its Ewok Escape. The episode takes place in the scene from the film where Leia matches after being separated from Luke Skywalker in the movie speeder bike scene, Wicket the Ewok.

Back in Ewok Escape, Leia is tagging along with Wicket when they happen upon a set of stormtroopers who are threatening two Ewoks, inducing the rambunctious furry animal to spring to action to save his pals. Also in the episode, fans will find out where Leia got her long brown dress from, and she asks, “Does it include a spear?”

Contrary to other Forces of Destiny episodes that feature the voices of Daisy Ridley, Felicity Jones, and Ashley Eckstein as their characters Rey, Jyn Erso, and Ahsoka Tano, respectively, the Leia episodes regrettably don’t feature the voice of Carrie Fisher, who died tragically in December. But there’s no doubt that the animated episode captures the spirit of Leia, and it is a testament to the late, good actresses overall impact on the Star Wars saga.

For the time being, the Forces of Destiny episodes are submitting online daily, and it’s going to be interesting to see if Disney and Lucasfilm will maintain releasing them at such a quick pace. If that is so, almost half the episodes will be available to the public before Forces of Destiny makes its TV debut on the Disney Channel on July 9. No matter the scenario, the first three episodes are proving to be experienced, and such as the films they’re based upon, lovers will probably watch them over and over again.
