Fable 4: Release Date, Rumours, Gameplay, Xbox Series X And All New Updates

There have been doing, although the Fable series has been largely dormant for the best aspect of this decade.

It looks like the entrance into this fantasy RPG is very much real and at the works.

The series has a history of platform options, which meant that Fable II never left Xbox in 2008.

But thanks to the efforts of a new programmer (and Microsoft’s new policy of releasing first-party exclusives on PC), we might be seeing it sooner than you would think!

Continue below for all the details that we have on Fable 4.

Release Date

We have got enough to start speculating on what form it will take, although there is still a lot we do not know about Fable 4.

There has not been any formal acknowledgment of Fable 4.

Considering this, the game is very likely to be in the first phases of development, and therefore don’t expect it to arrive in 2020!

Rumors

Lionhead has been disbanded in the past couple of years, but a reliable leaker has said that another UK studio is currently operating on a Fable sequel.

Meanwhile, the Eurogamer seems to have an inside source, asserting the Leamington Spa-based Playground Games will be supporting Fable 4.

The playground is accountable for Forza Horizon, so they have plenty of open-world experience in their team.

They have no experience with RPGs, but they’ve hired several specialists of Kojima Productions and Rockstar North (thanks to a job listings on ArtStation) to find the job done.

Upcoming Announcement?

We expected to learn more but since that the event has been canceled for safety reasons, we don’t know what to think.

That said, Microsoft has an inside Xbox’s presentation coming up, therefore there is a fantastic possibility that we can see something linked to the next Fable title.

We’re expecting to see gameplay from many exciting upcoming titles, so it would be the time for a statement!

Though there have only been rumors of Fable 4 coming to PC, the game would have every opportunity of making it to Xbox collection X following its launch.

Regrettably, that’s all we have for now, once we understand more but we’ll be back with an update on this.
