Lots of Marvel heroes such as the Winter Soldier and Falcon are set to star in their very own franchise although we’re currently 23 movies deep into the MCU. But, that’s all set to change now thanks to Disney’s new streaming service, Disney+ (or even Disney Plus for those with fiddly keyboards).
Alongside Loki, Hawkeye, Scarlet Witch and Vision, the Winter Soldier and Falcon is going to probably be pulled off the sidelines to star on the stage that is new together in their very own series. It’s about time which second-tier heroes such as these are given a chance to shine, but this new team-up raises a range of questions.
What’s life like now the Star-Spangled Avenger is gone? How will the world react to Captain America? And how does Winter Soldier keep that metal arm glossy? Join us as we keep you updated on everything you need to learn concerning Falcon and the Winter Soldier.
Falcon And The Winter Soldier Cast
It should probably come as no surprise that Anthony Mackie and Sebastian Stan will tug the spandex again to play the titular heroes, but perhaps we should be calling Sam Captain America today post-Endgame.
Joining them is going to be Emily Van Camp’s, Sharon Carter. The last time we saw Agent 13, she was making out with her great-uncle Steve Rogers at Captain America: Civil War. Ironically, this uncomfortable plot point is going to be glossed over in favor of a few SHIELD-related shenanigans.
In Comic-Con, it had been revealed that the wicked in question is going to be none other than the iconic Captain America villain Baron Zemo. Back in the Civil War, Daniel Brühl’s character instigated the conflict which split the Avengers in 2 and then dropped them in the fight against Thanos. So he’s bad news.
Our first appearance at the villain revealed that he’ll be appropriately chilling as a result of the debut of the signature mask by the comics of Zemo although the Baron has no powers of his own.
Falcon And The Winter Soldier Plot
No plot details have been released by marvel yet, however, the show logo includes Captain America’s defense, which suggests that Bucky and Sam will be functioning in Steve’s shadow to start with.
Writer Marc Bernardin augmented this idea when he suggested that the authorities will resist the fantasies of Steve, asserting that Sam Wilson should not be the newest Captain America.
Whether that proves to be true or not, it certainly makes a whole lot of sense, representing a number of the immunity to the choice of Marvel and both the source material too. The show will strive to prove these naysayers wrong, which makes it crystal clear that Sam is worthy to follow along with his buddy’s footsteps.
Baron Zemo’s participation has also led some to feel that Falcon and the Winter Soldier are establishing the birth of a brand new Marvel team that he contributed to the comics. Masquerading as personalities, the Thunderbolts worked as villains before they are placed by a change of heart on the route of heroism, much to the chagrin of Zemo. Whether they end up appearing on the series or not, it’s simple to learn how the improved profile at the MCU of Zemo could result in the later down the line.

Falcon And The Winter Soldier Trailer
Throughout the 2020 Super Bowl, Disney+ released a combo trailer for some of its forthcoming Marvel Studios series, The Falcon and the Winter Soldier one among them. The footage is sprinkled throughout the video, but it comprises Sam Wilson chucking Captain America’s vibranium shield suggesting he might have taken the super-soldier serum formerly handled to Steve Rogers. Furthermore, Bucky is shown holding Baron Zemo at gunpoint, although it seems unlikely he pulls on the trigger.
