Fans might be a bit sad to know that Netflix has pulled the plug on the series, and the fifth season will be the end of it for now. There are no additional plans to continue the series for the time being. Some of the cast members have not said any reason too.
In what led to the cancelation of the series while no exact reason was given, it may be something related to the low ratings of this show after the second season onwards. As of now, Netflix is much more concerned about boosting the last nine episodes of the show; John Stamos has talked of making the Tanner family appear yet again, possibly through a reunion film or a reboot about strategies.
