Godzilla’s biggest weapon – his atomic breath – is the key to beating King Kong in 2021’s Godzilla vs. Kong. Godzilla and Kong’s forthcoming showdown will be the second time in history in which the two pop culture icons have clashed on the big screen; the first time was in Toho’s 1962 crossover movie, King Kong vs. Godzilla.
For years, the MonsterVerse has been building up to its version of the fight, and after two delays, Godzilla vs. Kong will finally hit theaters in May 2021. MonsterVerse Titan Nozuki and Vintage Toho villain Mechagodzilla are expected to participate in the action. But can the fight between the two titular Titans perform?
