Harley-Davidson motorcycles to take Android Auto from 2021

By integrating the Android Auto feature into these motorcycles. Harley-Davidson is all set to make its Touring, CVO, and Trike models more fun and entertaining from 2021 on. Harley-Davidson will be the first two-wheeler maker to carry out this feature exclusively used in four-wheelers to date.

Box GTS Infotainment Module comes with Android Auto. So the rider will be able to use Google Maps for navigation, stream music and monitor it via voice assistant. And handle calls and messages with the aid of this app.

Notably, Android Auto provides much more functionality than traditional Bluetooth-enabled screens. The former helps one to control most functions of the mobile through the monitor itself.

To use Android Auto, so you’ll need to connect the device to the computer with a USB cable.

The same refers to Harley offers getting Apple CarPlay. A feature that the bike manufacturer has been selling since 2018 in select models.

The Bum! The latest version of Harley’s 6.5GT setup is the Box GTS infotainment system. So, the bikes fitted with the latter can upgrade with the new GTS package. Which is offered as an upgrade by the manufacturer.

According to Android Auto, the driver will be able to navigate the directions on Google Maps, and will also be provided voice assistant for calls and texts. In addition, with this feature, the rider can stream music too.

Harley-Davidson recently partnered with Google. All thanks to which the company’s 2021 models will come with compatibility with Android Auto. To be exact, the company’s touring models should come along. With Android Auto to give consumers greater convenience. With this, Harley-Davidson will be the first manufacturer to sell a motorcycle the said feature.

The new models will come with a Boom Box GTS infotainment system that will support Android Cars. Besides this, Harley-Davidson also plans to make Android Auto available in existing models through an update to existing Boom software.
