Hocus Pocus is now a cult hit through recent years. Disney’s 1993 comedy, starring Amagansett’s Sarah Jesica Parker, Bette Midler, and Kathy Najimi because the Sanderson sisters, witches that are resurrected one Halloween night and wreak havoc on Salem, Massachusetts as a bunch of children attempt to prevent them, is cherished for its humorous performances, campy moments along with a showstopping spin around Screamin’ Joe Hawkins’ “I Put a Spell on You” In 2019, Disney announced a sequel to the movie, to be led by Adam Shankman comprising the first trio of witches.
Parker lately told CinemaBlend: “I believe it is something Bette Midler, Kathy [Najimy], and I’m very hospitable to the thought. I believe for quite a very long time. Folks talked about it though folks moved with it in a way that was true; we had been oblivious of it. However, I think today we have gotten to the stage where we have agreed publicly to the ideal individuals, that could be a very, very interesting though,’ so we will see what the future holds.”
The movie was for Disney but turned into a hit thanks to TV airings and home video revenue.
