    Honda Motorcycle & Scooter India Selling of 5.5Lakh BS6 units: New Crossed Milestone

    BS6 sales touch 5.5 lakh units milestone Honda Motorcycle & Scooter India (HMSI).  A new milestone has set by the two-wheeler maker by delivering a robust line-up of BS6 vehicles. Ahead of the impending BS6 emission norms deadline.

    HMSI markets a total of six BS6 complaint models from its portfolio of Indian cars. So, this includes the Light, the Rainbow. In the Activa 125, the SP 125, the Activa 6 G and the Dio. The remarkable achievement has accomplished by the organization long before the deadline for BS6 emission requirements scheduled for April 1, 2020.

    Honda has implemented a few new innovations on its BS6 cars. Honda’s all-new BS6 engines feature improved smart power (ESP) technology. With ACG Starter motor. So, this helps reduce frictional losses and crank the vehicle sound-free. The firm names it “AQuietRevolution by Honda!”

    Both engines also feature the Programmable Fuel Injection (PGM-Fi) system. So, boost Honda BS6 vehicle performance, mileage, and power delivery.

    The Honda Unicorn is fitted with a 160cc single-cylinder engine. That produces a torque of 12.7bhp and 14Nm and is mounted to a five-speed gearbox. In fact, the motorcycle features single-channel ABS for improved safety.

    The models SP 125 and Shine BS6 are powered by a single-cylinder 125cc engine which produces 10.7bhp and 11Nm torque. The engine mated to a five-speed transmission on both models. Whereas the SP 125 features funky graphics, with minimal graphics, the Shine stylized to look plain.
