I am not okay with this series based on Charles Forsman’s graphic novel, with the same name, which first streamed on February 26 this year on Netflix. This series gained a lot of popularity within a few days and also left in a bit of suspense at the ending, which raised the demand for the second season even more. All the major cast of the first season is expected to come back for season two that includes Sophia Willis as Sydney(lead character), Wyatt Oleff as Stanley Barber, Rose Perkins as Maggie, Aidan Wojtak- Hissong as Liam, and Sofia Bryant as Dyna.
PLOT
The series is about a teenage girl who suddenly gains superpowers and finds it difficult to maintain a balance between her family and social-life along with those extraordinary powers.
Season 1 was just a basic introduction of the girl, Sydney. It also left the viewers on suspense as to her father’s identity and her relationship with Dina.
Considering the first season to be an intro, we can expect this journey to be much longer. Season 2 is expected to reveal more of her abilities and is also likely to resolve some unanswered questions.
