Toyota India has released the sales report for the first month of the year. According to the company, in January 2021, 11,126 units of Toyota were sold in the Indian market. At the same time, a total of 5,804 units of Toyota were sold in the domestic market in January 2020. If you compare it with January of last year, then this January the sales of the company have increased by 92%. Toyota has sold 5,322 more cars in India in January 2021 as compared to January 2020.
Toyota’s sales in India increased last month compared to January 2020. But if compared to December 2020, the company has recorded a huge decline in sales. In December 2020, Toyota sold 7,487 units in the Indian market. Sales of the company decreased by 22.48 percent month-on-month compared to December. The company sold 3,639 vehicles less in January 2021 as compared to December 2020.
Earlier in the festive season, Toyota India had recorded a tremendous increase in sales. The company had sold 8508 vehicles in November 2020, up 2.4 percent from November 2019.
