Jack Aitken to make debut with Williams in FP1 !!!

Williams brings in reserve driver Aitken to make his maiden debut in the Free Practice race 1. He shall be let loose ahead of the Styrian Grand Prix at red bull Ring. Here, he shall take over George Russel’s car for the season. He is in Williams since the start of 2020, from Renault Sport Academy.

And Aitken is very much excited about it. He says it shall be a pretty special occasion for him to race in the free Practice match. And he also has the competition at Campos Racing in Formula 2 on the same weekend. He is sure to drive out of the pit with a big smile on his face.

Ahead of the Styrian Grand Prix, Williams’ Head of vehicle Performance spoke of giving Jack Aitken his first experience with George’s car he was very busy til now with the engineers, and they now want him to show his work on the tracks. Earlier, Aitken is already done with the tests three times, with his team in the team’s academy, but never drove in FP1. Also, Russell will is glad to come in again after the Austrian incident. He was not happy with his car, and it wasn’t as supportive as he wishes for. There was no much pace, though he got a bit lucky.
