Jessica Jones is an American Television Series part of This Marvel’s Cinematic Universe. Jessica Jones is a portion of the set of superhero series, including Iron Fist, Daredevil, the Punisher, and Luke Cage ordered by Netflix. The series also featured in the 8-part crossover event titled The Defenders.
Marvel Television and ABC Studios produced the series along with Tall Girls Productions. The series follows Krysten Ritter as the titular character Jessica Jones. She is a hired Private Investigator dealing with her past.
She isn’t a regular PI; she’s super-strength. Fans loved the series as the infamous Kilgrave due to the performances of David Tennant and Krysten Ritter. Heads are controlled by kilgrave and kidnap Jessica to induce her to perform his will.
The series also stars Rachel Taylor, Will Travel, Carrie-Anne Moss, and J.R. Ramirez. Terry Chen, Leah Gibson, Janet McTeer, and Eka Darville star in the show.
The first season followed Jessica, trying to stop launching and Kilgrave to the character of Luke Cage. Season two took Jessica on a journey to research her origins.
The Network canceled season 3 established in June 2019, but the show with its Marvel counterparts Daredevil, The Punisher, Iron Fist, and Luke Cage.
Jessica Jones’ cancellation seemed inevitable following all of the Netflix Marvel Originals’ cancellation. Fans suspected that the main reason behind these cancellations was that the announcement of Disney+.
Disney had announced that they would be developing Marvel Studios’ TV series programming. This was the main reason why were dropped after the other after all the displays had gained a loyal audience for Punisher Daredevil and Jessica Jones.
