The Z650 reposition and to modernize the ER-6n in its 2017 lineup has been introduced by Kawasaki. ‘ Z’ line of bikes will sit over the Z900 in Kawasaki’s or under and the Z250 the Z800.
The Z650 seems to be motivated by this Z1000’s Sugomi layout. According to Kawasaki, close-fitting bodywork emphasizes its look. An instrument cluster comprising a tachometer in its center using a gear position indicator, sitting atop an LCD is also used by the bicycle. The brand new styling that is sharper together with the tail that is raked creates this bicycle seem similar to a sport-naked compared to the usual naked-tourer.
The swing and table arm also has been redesigned, rather than the version’s counter orientation, and the mono-shock has been moved into a position over the swingarm.
While the parallel-twin motor displaces 649cc, it’s now Euro IV compliant. The electricity output was dropped in 71bhp to 69bhp, the motor based on the firm was tuned to provide midrange torque and better low. The transmission gets a slipper clutch. The manufacturer claims that, it’s likewise 6.8 percent more fuel-efficient than the engine. The Z650 is 19 kilograms lighter compared to ER-6n.
