Knightfall is a though literary drama television series, which is created by Don Handfield and Richard Rayner, and published on History Channel. This series portrays the story of Knight Templar, a Catholic Military order founded in 1119.
The show was filmed in Croatia and the Czech Republic and triggered its first two successful seasons in December 2017 and March 2019, respectively. And now, fans are anticipating them to launch the next season.
Currently, there isn’t any official statement from the founders concerning the tale’s third period.
But, it had been predicted that the show could get published in mid-2020. But unfortunately, the production house might delay the release.
Besides that, then for a few official statements concerning the release date from them, and History Channel is to renew this series.
We’re currently expecting this series to be renewed by them, and when this series gets renewed, we will witness the return of the main cast. We’ll see, Tom Cullen as Landry de Lauzon, Jim Carter as Pope Boniface VIII, Padraic Delaney as Gawain, Ed Stoppard as King Philip, Julian Ovenden as William de Nogaret, Tom Forbes as Prince Louis of France, Mark Hamill as Master Talus, along with Simon Merrells as Tancrede de Hauteville, in the upcoming season.
The show captures the glimpses of the medieval history of Europe that they chose the characters and made a story of their own. And fans are hoping for the new season to take the formula. We are yet to hear some information about the plot of the next season.
In addition to this, the series hasn’t been renewed for a third season yet, and that there isn’t any official trailer. But, we will keep you posted as any official information gets lost.
