Knightfall has a total of 18 episodes from its two seasons. Season 1 of Knight released 6 started airing on 6 December 2017 and ended on 7 February 2018. Season 1 has 10 episodes. The second season of Knightfall aired from 25 March 2019 to 13 May 2019. The second season had only eight episodes. The length of each episode in Knightfall ranges from 40 minutes to 45 minutes.
The first season of Knightfall received good reviews from the critics as well as the audience. It has an approval rating of 60% and an audience rating of 69% on the rotten tomatoes. The second season also saw the addition of Star Wars actor Mark Hamill who played the role of Master Talus.
There were plans for the third season of Knightfall. However, in May 2020, History announced that they have canceled all the further seasons of the Knightfall television series. The reason is that the second season didn’t fare well among the audience. Instead of having a growth in the viewership, History witnessed about 50% decline in the viewership of the second season of Knightfall as compared to the first season. However, there are some rumors going on that says the series may be revived by Netflix. Fingers crossed!
