The country’s leading automobile company Mahindra & Mahindra is preparing to include the new Next Generation Mahindra Scorpio 2021 in its portfolio. The Mahindra Scorpio 1st Generation model is already present in the Indian market. Given the huge demand for SUVs car in the Indian market, the company can now launch its Next Generation model later this year. Before this, the company also launched the new generation Thar SUV, which is very popular in the Indian market.
A lot of information about its interior has been revealed from the pictures that went viral on the internet. According to the pictures, its dashboard can be seen with black material and a leather-wrapped multi-function steering wheel. Apart from this, chrome highlights can also be seen on the steering wheel with a large touchscreen infotainment system in the center of the dashboard and a flat bottom for a sporty feel. In this, AC vents and climate control buttons are also seen below.
The testing model of this SUV has a stylish alloy wheel, which can be up to 18 inches in size. Its multi-spoke alloy wheels are wrapped with MRF wander rubber. The current Scorpio model gets a 17-inch alloy wheel.
Next Generation Scorpio can get special features like automatic climate control, airbag, Android Auto and Apple CarPlay connectivity, vehicle stability management, electric sunroof, and automatic climate control. Mahindra’s SUV will get a new ladder-on-frame chassis, making it larger, wider, and taller in size than the current Scorpio model. This Car Model has an 18-inch alloy wheelbase which will give better space in the cabin.
The company can use a 2.2-liter mHawk turbo diesel engine and a 2.0-liter mStallian turbo petrol engine in this new SUV. Its diesel engine generates 130 PS of power, while its petrol engine will generate a maximum power of 150 PS and peak torque of 320 Nm. Its engine can come with a 6-speed manual or 6-speed automatic transmission.
The price of the current Mahindra Scorpio model ranges from Rs. 11.99 lakhs to Rs. 16.52 lakhs in the market (ex-showroom). It is believed that its next-generation model will cost more than its old model.
